A change was introduced in 2.3 beta that could explain things.
Perhaps Mr. Haberek is still using the 2.3 alpha release.
Type:
     exw
in a DOS window, or double-click on exw.exe to find out.
Maybe 2.3 alpha is still on his PATH.
