IDE

I have a couple of questions to anyone using win95 and the X-IDE. A user
who has his machine partitioned into win95, win98, Linux and an extended
partition. Euphoria is installed in the extended partition and has the
following IDE problems.
1. using win95 partition is experiencing problems with the Open and Save
Dialog, specifically right clicking on a file name or switching to
another folder and clicking on the file to open.
2. using win98 partition is experiencing problems with the Save Dialog
and right clicking.

I only have access to a win98 machine and am not experiencing any of
these problems. If anyone is, please e-mail me privately and let me
know.

There *is* a problem with selecting the ? in the Dialogs but that is
fixed in the upcoming release.

Now, a question for you experts out there. Right now when user clicks
outside of IDE, it minimizes because it is not the active window. The
history behind this is I have 2 windows, PropertySheet and ToolBar that
have an ontop style. When clicking outside IDE or another application a
previous version of IDE would leave the ontop windows on the desktop.
Wolf told me about testing for IDE being the active window. That's the
way the last release stands. User wants the IDE to stay on the desktop
when he clicks the windows start button. Anyone know how I would know
that? Another problem occurs when he has "tiled" IDE with another
application; clicking on the other appication minimizes IDE, again
because IDE is not the active window. If I comment out the active window
test, the program works nicely except for the ontop windows being
present when they shouldn't. The only solution, if I can't isolate out
windows start button, is to add a method for the user to alter the
ontop-ness of the 2 windows before tiling or clicking outside the IDE. A
big pain. I've tried doing that internaly within IDE but without success
because I can't find a place to turn on the ontop-ness again. I tried
placing that in onGotFocus for the IDE but then user must click a
toolbar button twice to make it fire. Again, not nice.

Please send any ideas, suggestions to me.

Thanks
Judith
