Hello Theo, >I couldn't resist and just tried your game, as I >want see what people get out of "small Euphoria". I get quite a lot out of it. I know both VB and Cobol and I know it wouldn't be this easy to do what I've done in Euphoria in either of those. >Maybe you didn't hack out speed till the last bit, >but your game is well thought and funny. Does it run slowly on your machine? What speed is your cpu? >In fact ... thats the best game I've seen for a long time. >(Exactly ... since the Space-Invaders from Ray Sm...). I'm not sure I have played that, is that the one done with EuAllegro? I'm downloading that as I type. >I knew an older Versions of this, it was made in QBASIC. >But this one is the best. "Gorillas" by any chance? I played that at a friends house one time and never could find it again anywhere else. The inspiration for this game was one called Scorched Earth. >Also I think a good game does not need necessarily 3D violence >(even if it is funny sometimes (UT!)...) but a good game needs to be >funny and ... a little bit scientific - just like this one. Thanks. When you say "funny" do you mean amusing or enjoyable? I agree, assuming by "scientific" you mean strategic. I like games that deal with some strategy too. Especially if it gives you time to think about it. thanks, Lewis Townsend
