Well said. smile
I also would appreciate it, if the system would be as unbureaucratic as
possible.

Generally speaking, I'd like to have some kind of democratic voting on
changes in the front-end or the back-end as well as on changes in the
libraries coded in Euphoria that ship with the official release.

I'm not sure whether I do understand properly what you mean.
If there will be a change that I do not like, but for which there was a
democratic voting, then I'll have no problem to accept that change.
If there is a change that I do not like, and this change only happens
because someone who knows something about SVN and has some free time and
thinks it's a good idea to change the language according to his personal
preferences, then it might happen that I will not accept that change.

Unfortunately, I have no experience in this regard, and so I have more
questions than answers. However, as far as libraries coded in Euphoria are
concerned, we already have a working and unbureaucratic voting system:
the micro economy. So we should use it whenever possible.

Rob recently wrote that he had read a book with the title
"Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything". Maybe in that
book there was something written about this topic? (Just a guess.)

I, personally, mainly felt that it is time now to start this discussion.
