Right now I'm looking into that.  What I'm hoping is to be able to quickly and
easily update different components off the internet, where a user could
periodically download a file containing various updates.  The file would update
everything automatically.  I can't imagine any update being over 2Mb.

Any other ideas for updating?  I'm looking for as much input as possible.
