I don't see how you think your monitor will change your vision.
Your vision is a function of the shape of your eyeball and how It
focus light rays on your retina. As you age the eyeball can change shape
or you can get caracts that will change your vision and this is not
cause by your monitor. I would suggest that you see your eye doctor.

As far as your monitor goes it can tire your eyes with flickering which
you may not realize is happening.
You should use a monitor that is NON-INTERLACED and have a refresh rate
greater than 70HZ. I think the filter will only seem to mask the flicker.
