Help compiler

Hi all,
i would like to now if someone in here has a program similar to Help pad
or Helpscribble,if possible freeware,to crearte help files for windows
16 & 32 bit... I tryed to download from microsoft's web a 3 megabyte
program to edit Html/Help files but it's impossible for me to wait 3
hours!!!
(i only have access to the www during faculty hours,& that would require
me to skip classes,pretty bad.)
