Thanks for all of the thoughtful insight, people.  It seems that nobody
else is too interested in cross-platforms of the lesser kind.

But I am very happy, nonetheless, because the latest swag out there in the
gamer dens is that the official OS of choice for the Sony PLAYSTATION2 and
its super-cpu risc chip is LINUX!  This means that if Robert Craig, and all
of the other wonderful people who help port EU over to Linux will be
solving this problem also.  In the meantime, there is always DOSEMU around
to run EU (dos32) under Linux.
