Tool bars and IDE

Hi All,
I have played with tool bars and IDE to the point of frustration. Its 
probably so simple and I'm overlooking the obvious (again).

I am trying to create a tool bar similar to that on IDE but using icons, or 
is there a better alternative. I could do it all manually but that defeats 
the purpose of having IDE.

A sample PRJ file would be great if someone wouldn't mind spending 5 
minutes to help me.
