Well, sorry you're giving up. I've installed Euphoria on all the 
distributions listed below, and have never had to do anything but follow the 
instructions that come with the package.  

RedHat 7.1
Mandrake 8.0
Mandrake 7.1
Suse 6.4
Suse 6.3
TurboLinux 2?
Debian 2.2
Slack 4.0

If you ever want to try Linux in fhe future, I suggest you either buy a book 
with a CD, or buy a distribution that comes with manuals, such as SuSE. 
Lots of good information in those books.

BTW: I'm still wondering why your exu file is listed as a directory.
