  * The limit on the number of open files
    was raised to 25 from 15.
    Three of these files are 0,1,2: standard-input,
    standard-output and standard-error, so you can
    now have up to 22 of your own files open
    simultaneously.
    (As far as we know, no one ever exceeded
    the old limit, but it seemed wise to raise it.)
