Creating C code for Unix compiler under Windows?

As a Windows user (shame upon me!) I am writing command line tools that I would
like to make available under Unix.

Is there a way that I can translate, under Windows, my Euphoria programs to C so
that they can easily be compiled with GCC under different versions of Unix?

From the Translator documentation, it seems to me that a C file created with
the Win version of the Translator is meant to be compiled under Win only?

I have no experience with Unix or C, and do not want to compile Unix executables
myself -- but can I create C files that Unix (or Linux) users can compile
straight ahead?

Thank you!
