Um, I didn't actually suggest that!
If you have a file in your current directory with the same name as a
file in the include directory, and you "include $filename", it will
get the one in the current directory.
So, it's safe to leave win32lib in your include directory, and if you
have a program that needs an older version put the old win32lib in the
same directory as the program.

Which version does it need? Perhaps Derek can shed some light, or the
author of the archive program.

It would be, but it would make all the zip files much larger... it's
not always worth it.

That's true, but the larger projects often have the older versions on
their own websites.
