Agreed. However, the Honda analogy was a bit flawed.

We didn't get a Honda.
What we got was four wheels and an engine. All the rest has been optional, 
after-market addons designed and installed by the owner.

Windows? You want WINDOWS? Well, you won't get 'em here - see if Dave or 
Derek or someone will put some on for you.

Want to drive that car on the freeway as well as on neighborhood streets?
Well, just hope someone writes some network utilities - we aren't going to.

Doesn't handle well in heavy traffic? Yeah, we know that, but we can't be 
bothered to fix it, and you aren't allowed to.
