I don't have that option - I have to sell software (or give up eating:) 
If M$ breaks my programs, which have been running just fine for 
years, I think my clients will understand where the fault lies, and will 
probably be willing to pay a reasonable price for upgrades, or go back 
to Win98.

I would like to be able to prepare ahead of time, so that there is little or no
downtime involved. Hence the questions re: will XP support .com programs,
(in use for about 20 years!) or Eu programs, (2 - 3 years), etc.
