just guessing, but i had very similar problem once in eds gui with
treeviews:

i think you have two listviews on same place of same size so that it looks
like it is one listview.
then when you click on listview item second listview is brought up.

also, if i remember right, or maybe this already changed: win32lib doesn't
destroy
windows but only hides them when you destroy them???
