Euphoria and the NET

Well, Guys I've had my fun programming some games, but now it is time to 
get down to business and make some programs that might actually help me out!
    I was thinking the Internet.  What Internet capabilities does Euphoria 
have?  Is there a library anywhere.  I'm not really even sure how to go about 
it.  
    I do know that there is a Java translator out there, but what exactly 
does it do?  Does it change euphoria into Java?  I know that a lot of the 
Internet games and programs online are Java applets.  Can Euphoria do 
anything like that?
    For starters just to learn about the commands and other online things 
related to euphoria, I'll make a card game that two players can play from two 
different computers over the net.  What are some of the basics I'm going to 
need to know and what will I need?
