By chance I have a copy of MS-DOS ver 5.0 user guide (600+ pages!!!!!) > so I am on my way to where the fun never ends. Wish be luck. There is still a place in my heart for DOS programs . . . It appears to me that Euphoria dos programming is probably going to be the easiest and funnest way of programming for anybody . . . I used to know practically everything there was to know about DOS, but it has been years now since I have really used it, so, you might find most on this mailing list a little rusty . . . It irks me to no end that half the processor power, probably more, is used for all that windows code, ie, event loops, system tray, etc, etc, . . . And then, every new release of Windows just bogs down your system with no appreciable gain. I can hardly wait till the feature set of operating system becomes a mute point because processor speed will be so fast . . . Anyway, happy coding . . .
