There is still a place in my heart for DOS programs . . .  It appears to me
that Euphoria dos programming is probably going to be the easiest and
funnest way of programming for anybody . . .  I used to know practically
everything there was to know about DOS, but it has been years now since I
have really used it, so, you might find most on this mailing list a little
rusty . . . blink

It irks me to no end that half the processor power, probably more, is used
for all that windows code, ie, event loops, system tray, etc, etc, . . .
And then, every new release of Windows just bogs down your system with no
appreciable gain.  I can hardly wait till the feature set of operating
system becomes a mute point because processor speed will be so fast . . .
