Feel free to do so.
On a related note: I have been working on a wrapper for GTK2.0.1 
for the last couple of days. 2.0.+ is a big improvement over 1.2, a lot 
of things are easier to use, some things look better and no extra .so 
libraries should now be required. 

I'll post the package later.
