Great choice Al!!!!
I started using Mandrake about 6 months ago ... and yes ... it does
take extra time and effort to get to grips with how everything works,
but I would never go back!  

On a related note yesterday was the 20th Anniversary of Richard 
Stallman's (RMS) first post on usenet about the formation of GNU 
project.
RMS is founder of free software and GNU is the backbone of the "free"
and "open source" revolutions!
