Yes. Its probably because our email addresses are stored in the email archive,
which is searchable via the web. That lets spammers find us more easily.
(Don't know about a virus using the web to collect emails, tho.)

I'm getting ready to change email addresses again. (I do this every time
I get spammed rather than install a spam guard like a normal person, due to my
irrational fear of false positives.)
