No war, but surely you see the problem:
You get to see the terms only AFTER you have paid your

money, and AFTER you've opened the box, (and sometimes

only AFTER you've loaded the software). Too late, and
actually illegal in other transactions.

If you think that's ok, then I will sell you a really
nice house for only $1000 down. The rest of my terms*
you will find nailed just inside the front door, when 
you move in.    

Once you open the front door, the house is, of course,
"used", and I won't give you your downpayment back. 

* I am willing to be flexible here - strike the 
phrase "first-born", and replace it with "cutest" 
if you wish.
