Can anyone tell me why there is a "void" (blackness) are on the screen =
when using a graphics mode of 256? It seems to affect BMPs. Does =
use_vesa(1) counter this?

Also regarding 256 graphics_mode, what is the border for? Can I get rid =
of it?
