BMP problems (Thomas)

My bmps don't want to agree with each other, one may look right while =
the other's colours are wrong. Here's the code:
chn=3Dread_bitmap("chn.BMP")
display_image({295,1}, chn [2])
all_palette(chn[1]/4)
fstand=3Dread_bitmap("fstand.BMP")
display_image({550,1}, fstand [2])
all_palette(fstand[1]/4)
Only one of the palettes works. Irv suggested downloading PaintShop Pro, =
but it costs $100! Is there a cheaper way to do this?
