The two BMP's use different palettes - i.e. color[12] in BMP 1 may be a bright red, while color[12] for BMP 2 may be green. When you change to the second BMP's palette, all bets are off as to what the first one will look like. There are a couple of ways around this. The easiest is to download a copy of PaintShopPro, load all your BMP's into PSP, and convert them all to use a single palette. Once you've saved them with the new palette, things will look much better. And how would I go about 'erasing' a BMP?
