Think of it like learning any language. The more words you want to use in the
language, and the more words there are in the language, and the more ways they
are
used, and the more irregularities in useage or spelling, then the longer it will
take to
learn that language. Spanish is easier than Latin, unless you want to read a
Spanish
novel and all you want to do in Latin is say "hi". Same with puter languages,
with the
added difficulty of documentation, <my opinion> engineers are poor at
documenting,
as a general rule, including software engineers. The degree at which you say you
have
learned the language is also variable.
