Windows MCI control

Does anyone have a wrapper for the Windows MCI (multi-media) control?  I have an
app where I want to display a user-defined animation during a long-running
process and I don't want to be limited to the AVI-only animation control (which I
have working).  I'd like to be able to use AVI, GIF, MPEG, etc.
