I'm confused on this point. Are you saying that *sourceforge* won't allow
that as a name, or that *you* don't want to prevent other people from using
that name? If it's just your concern, I'd say, 'first come, first served...'
The lower case bit is understandable.
Rather than adding an 'ex' onto the name, I would think you would rather add
something like 'eu', such as 'euwin32'.

I remember reading about issues when moving from a less restrictive licence
to a more restrictive one, etc. I'd rather wait a day or so, then, and get
everything settled before setting up a site.
Here's my proposed license; a slight modification of the zlib/libpng
license:
Copyright (c) <date>, <copyright holders>

implied warranty. In no event will the authors be held

4. This notice may not be removed or altered from any source

Obviously, additional coders will want to add their names to the copyright.
Does this look acceptable?

Well, you might want to wait on a the above-mentioned details first...

Throw something up, and we'll see what happens.

I've no doubts.
Thanks!
