Hi David, this sounds good. A bit like the Open Source community. We appreciate the time you and others have put into this library. Who ever takes over the management of it will have to consider their time and if it is worthwhile. Maybe RDS can encourage a new manager for it by offerring some discount/incentive or the like. I'll do it (without incentive) if no one else wants the job. I have plenty of experience in managing software development teams and projects. Fair warning though - I'm not an experienced Windows developer, so don't expect much testing/proofing from me. I can manage the source versioning, packaging and distribution though. cheers, Derek Parnell dparnell at bigpond.net.au Melbourne, Australia ----- Original Message ----- From: David Cuny <dcuny at LANSET.COM> To: <EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU> Sent: Tuesday, August 1 2000 15:18 Subject: Re: Win32libEx -- Richedit, common controls and MDI | Matthew Lewis wrote: | | > Now I should be able to get the other common | > controls (month calendar, rebar, updown) wrapped... | | Sounds great to me! | | I've not been doing a lot of coding on Win32Lib in the last couple of | months, and other people have picked up the ball to fill in missing pieces. | | This is a very good thing, but and it's not really fair for me to simply | grab other people's code and incorporate it into "David Cuny's" project.
