How will supporting WATCOM be of any use to the users
if WATCOM is no longer available ?

I also thought that WATCOM is required to use the
    CauseWay extender ?

Tenberry extender costs money and requires a runtime License.
I also think DOS/4G is a external extender.

DJGPP also uses a external extender.
