PROCEED WITH CAUTION !, and seek an experts advice.
Trying to install WinSock2 in Windows95 can be very tricky, and might require
you to update your dialer etc, as well. ( because there are so many versions
of Win95 and it's dialers, browsers, and all their associated 'net' DLLS. )
Try:

...which has links to Microsoft data as well, BEFORE you proceed blindly.
Otherwise, you might find you can't even get on the 'net' to fix up the
mess....
