Thanks, maybe I'll take you up on that.
Don't forget though, that I've got an Archive
of 600 programs at my disposal.

I could do that, but I work mainly in Windows 98 and I don't
like having to reboot all the time.

I'm using Watcom, but it should be trivial to port the compiler
to Linux and GNU - just #define LINUX and we're
all set... (famous last words!).
