The Microsoft Speech API (SAPI) does speech recognition (I have no idea how good it is, however). It has a COM interface which can be used by EuCOM. I've used it to have the computer speak, but I haven't tried much with recognition. You may need to download the SAPI SDK (you can use SAPI usually on Win2K and XP without additional d/l, IIRC) in order to get the docs and the typelib's needed for wrappers. Matt Lewis
