It was down since March 1, 2005, when Cookie delinked off SorceryNET.
Apperently the client only tried to connect to that server, and when the server
delinked, it failed. The new applet is a more functional IRC client, you can go
to multiple channels on SorceryNET, and have access to all the nickserv/chanserv
server commands. Plus you can finger, whois, ping, etc. anyone in the channels.
However the Java client is meant for Euphoria users to chat in the #Euphoria
channel. Unlike the previous client, it does not join the #Euphoria channel
automatically, you will need to type /join #Euphoria. You will also need to
change your default name: "EuAnon1" to something else using the "/nick <name>"
server cammand. You may wish to register your nick name, please visit:
http://www.sorcery.net/help/ if you have any questions regarding server commands.

Vincent
