I respectfully request that anyone who wishes to prove the superiority of
Perl,
(or whatever other language) should select three or four of the longer
Euphoria
programs and rewrite them in your favorite language. Then post them for all
of
us to try.
If they: 1. run faster, 2. read more clearly, and 3. are more "bulletproof",
then
I'm sure we will all join the Perl (or whatever) boosters club.
At least one of the programs should be a high speed arcade game, another a
native gui,
one should use custom fonts, and maybe a text editor. Other suggestions
for a good mix are welcome.
Perhaps you should try something simple; my concentration game took about
2 hours to write and debug. Time yourself. I'm sure you can do better in
your favorite language.
