Weird things in Windows95

Hi all,

While working on a project which involves using the parrallel port (LPT1) I
noticed something strange that happens if your in Windows and doesn't happen
in pure DOS.

D2 (Pin 4) is set high while the rest of the data pins are set low. If you
try to set them all off, Windows will complain that a MSDOS program and
Windows is attempting to access the LPT1 port even if Windows shouldn't be.

Is there a good work around for this problem. Other than that Euphoria works
great to program the parallel port with ports.e's help in DOS and Windows95.

TIA,

Greg Harris
