First of all, if you want to start programming in Euphoria, you'll have to
be serious about it. Your recent mailings have me doubting that. I can
understand how David Gay's Turtorial may not be helping you, it didn't help
me too much either at the beginning (but that's my fault).
The point is, the best way to learn Euphoria is to just mess around with it
yourself. There are a lot of examples and I suggest downloading anything
interesting from the Official Euphoria Homepage. The first thing you'll
have to get used to is that Euphoria doesn't have the simple shortcuts like
QBasic has, especially for getting input from the user. However, once you
get over this, you'll soon see the advantages Euphoria has over QBasic. Of
course, like me, you'll run into some specific problems you just can't
figure out. When this happened to me, I just sent a message to this mailing
list, and usually got a quick response that left me kicking myself for not
thinking about myself.

P.S. This mailing list is notorious for its quick little firefights, but
please don't try to start another one... smile
