NET trouble, no euphoria

Hi... I know here are several net experts, maybe someone can help me.
I just bought two D-link DE-220PCT 10base2T cards. I installed one on my K6,
and the other on a 486. I installed DR-DOS 7.02 and Personal Netware. The
problem: I can't get these 2 machines communicate! After several hours I
thought it may be because I hadn't defines "routes". So if that's the
problem, how dol I get a route address? I know the address given by
net-card... but the rest? I tried with 1:[card-address] and
2:[card-address], but didn't worked. Maybe it's the connection: Do I need a
hub? I'm connection both machines using a 7 ft. UTP 5 -RJ cable. Any ideas?

BTW: This is my first time installing a network. I have used (as user... not
admin) a Novell 3.1 before.

Regards (and thanks in advance)
