What I'd like to see from Rob
I'm not interesting in whining and moaning, etc. or making all sorts of
demands on Rob. But I am interested in the future of Euphoria. Even if
I can't influence that future, I would be interested in knowing what it
is. On the RDS download page it says the following:
"RDS is continuing to add important new features, and a 2.4 alpha-test
release should be out within a couple of months. Stay tuned!"
"RDS is continuing to add important new features..." being the important
part of that announcement. Now, if Rob is adding new features, I'm sure
he knows what they are, and which ones are planned next. So why not
list them there on the web site so we'll have some idea what's going on.
(i.e. "...X feature completed & will be included in next release.
Currently working on Y feature. Here is a list of Z features I'm
planning to incorporate sometime soon.") Unless he really has no plans
at all and then he can just say "I plan to fix any bugs that come up and
that's it. If something else brilliant strikes me I'll let you know."
But I would like to hear something specific, even if it is "there will
be nothing new of substance anytime soon". "Stay tuned" is a little
vague.
