Euman,

I'm using reg.ew and it works great on all Windows OSes from 95 to XP. Maybe
you're trying to access more "secure" areas of the registry than I...

Hello all,

As most of you know I submitted a experimental GUI for an installer front
end
last year that I just havent finished (Registry read/write on 2k,XP + File
I/O).
needs completion.

I just sent Rob yet another GUI front end for an INNO setup look-alike with
the same issues, I dont own 2k or XP so its hard for me to complete the
project
not to mention my health isnt very good at the moment. I plead that someone
out there will pick up this INNO look alike and finish it to work across the
board.
(Windows platforms ofcourse).

95-97% of the work is complete and the GUI shouldnt need any changes to work
on the 2k or XP boxes. I have code in the main file for Registry read/write
but
because of security issues on those systems, that part needs revamping.

I also wrote LZ32.dll wrappers so that I could use the compress.exe supplied
with
the MS-SDK. If anyone wishes to do 3-5% of the work to finish the job have
at it
and I'll help where I can.

Maybe if I happen to find a decent Doctor who knows what the hell he's doing
then
I will finish it myself but after 10 or so Doctors saying different things
and prescribing
different drugs, I doubt I'll ever return to very lengthy projects.

I dont want any pitty parties either folks.....
Kat summed that stuff up on her website.....

Regards,
Euman 2002
