Hello all interested in Lua, I just have posted to Rob the package for running and developing Lua Win32 programs in the Euphoria environment. This package is based on ed editor, has lua.exe interpreter for Win32 and some standard Lua example programs. Ask RDS for eu_lua.zip (106K) on their contrib page, or try it just now at: http://www.private.peterlink.ru/kinz/eu_lua.zip Regards, Igor Kachan kinz at peterlink.ru ---------- ïÔ: Igor Kachan <kinz at peterlink.ru> ôÅÍÁ: Re: Gui we really need... äÁÔÁ: 14 ÎÏÑÂÒÑ 2002 Ç. 15:39 Hello Kat, ---------- > ïÔ: Kat <kat at kogeijin.com> > ôÅÍÁ: Re: Gui we really need... > äÁÔÁ: 14 ÎÏÑÂÒÑ 2002 Ç. 12:43 > > On 14 Nov 2002, at 3:26, Kat wrote: > > > > > That might be what happens, with Eu talking to Lua, > > like Eu can talk to mirc. > > > > > > Do not forget the Lua Windows stepping debugger, > > Well, scratch that too, it tells me kernal32.dll > isn't there, and then nukes the computer. > > Kat I have attached .zip file with Lua program life.e and with Euphoria program lua.exw to call Lua life.e for execution. life.e has .e type instead of .lua to see it in ed editor with syntax highlighting. To run Lua life run lua.exw, to stop Lua life just press Ctrl+C. Just unzip attachement in separate directory, where you have lua.exe Win32 interpreter. You can run lua apps under lua.exe control if you change in ed.ex ex.exe to lua.exe. This works. You load Lua source into ed.ex as .e file and then Esc e it.
