That is just about the crux of my problem. I don't need nor want nor can get another program to do the backside connection to me (or to another server hosting the database). People i ask about it just look at me dumbfounded, wondering why anyone would want to run one application on more than one computer. So anyhow, Eu can't be a standalone application, it hasto use whatever standard applications the host will load up and give you permissions to run. Kat
