If the intention is to promote Euphoria then i don't think a graphical demo compo would be a very good choise. As much as i like Euphoria, you can't get around that it falls a bit short when it comes to heavy duty operations like alpha-blending, bitmap scaling, polygon rendering etc. Which is why you need to write machine code for the time critical sections, so it would really become an assembly compo. Otoh, disallowing this would severly restrict what one could do. I strongly doubt that some non-animate vector graphics thing that looks like something you would've done with QBasic 10 years ago will catch peoples attention and make them want to code Euphoria. So i'm thinking more along the lines of utility applications/libraries. Can't come up with anything more specific than that though.. :)
