Then revise the the function that now copies the data to the three PCs so that it combines (as appropriate) the time named files before copying. Thanks for your time. Once copied, the file is read by my program and then deleted. --How i work now: I move the input file to another folder on the same PC, copy it from there to the other PC's and then delete the file, so no file is left on the source PC, only on the 3 others. These 3 read the file and throw it away (delete) every 2 seconds i check if a new file is present, and ifso i repeat everything. --Problem : i loose data ,because of timing and access to the file (read/write errors, file locks) I can't accept to lose data! is there a better way possible or another way??
