Welcome back, as CK said! It's been a long time!
Moving house does takes ages, but all that time without
a computer?? Is it actually possible?

Ah, but you left a pretty darn good IDE behind. Very few bugs
and most of those we can work around easily enough. Couldn't
do without it!

I have been working with 0.18.22 and Win32Lin 0.60.4 quite OK.
It runs cheerfully in Eu 2.5, the changes are not that huge.
The biggest bugbear is that Eu2.5 parses all the source before
it starts and if you have Win32Lib then that can take time.
Beta Eu seems quicker, but as I also have a quicker PC it is
not easy to judge. Also WinXP SP2 which seems happy with it all.

I guess there are two bugs of note. The one you were fighting
before you went and moved house, with the properties pane locking up
sometimes, and another where you can rename a control and then all
literal text strings with the same initial letter get changed to
the new name. So changing "Fred" to "Joe" causes 'F' to become 'Joe'
which is weird and takes a while to put right. I don't know if it
happens every time, but the result certainly is that.

But given that, IDE is pretty good, as I said. I use it often and it
and Win32Lib keep me delightfully isolated from the intricacies of
Win32 API which I really struggle with!!

Don't worry, just let your brain and your computer start off in
bottom gear and trundle along for a while first..... but it's
great to hear from you again! Welcome home!
