I have Googled and found lots of advice on how to print in DOS with XP using a USB connected printer. However my problem is how to print in DOS with a LPT1 port connection to my printer. I can't find anything about this. My solution is at best only temporary. That is use the DOS program to create a seperate file and then print that file under WindowsXP. That means running 2 programs. I don't know why I should have to do all that. I didn't have to do all that with 95,98,2000. Maybe Mr. Gates is unaware of this Don Cole
