Hi Don,
If this is working to your satisfaction then no problem, but I thought I'd
expand on the idea of my last message in case it would help.
After you have clicked on Properties of the printer you use, and after
checking Enable Printer Pooling, you make sure LPT1 AND your regular printer
are selected. This should allow you to print in DOS to your regular printer
(assuming that whatever does the printing does print to LPT1).
As Rob implied, Microsoft seems to enjoy jerking DOS users around, so this
information does not come up in their Help that I could find.
