Currently this is what I have up and running. I have a designer =
interface, that lets you add files and folders to your "project", rename =
and save your project, remove files and folders from it, and add and =
remove shortcuts to the start menu (not implemented just yet). In =
addition, I also have the "unbundler" working, with everything but the =
shortcuts.
I plan on adding : default install paths, a user defined install path =
(this may help you, where the user can pick where his program is already =
installed... or maybe i should code a "file check" ability where it =
checks to find a file and if it isnt there then it knows it is a fresh =
installation?), user defined bitmaps for the front end, user defined =
messages for the front end, and so on.
I also need to program the uninstaller... I havent started on this yet. =
I only started work on "Spectre setup" yesterday! Lol.
What I plan on doing with the program is releasing a shareware version, =
that lets you work with so many files/ folders, like say 20 files, and =
registering will give some functionality. I don't plan on releasing the =
source code, however when its done I will give a discount to euphorians =
who want the full version.

Are you planning on releasing the code for this? I'm very interested =
as I have been planning an installer for the Morfit distribution.
What I'd really like to see is the installer allow the user to give it =
the location of a previously installed earlier version (via an explorer =
window or something?) and then be able to use what ever components from =
the old distribution are still valid, combined with the new. Morfit is a =
big download and I'd like the download size to be as small as possible =
for users of an earlier version.
