No you misunderstand... My setup program will allow you to specify any
file(s) out of your distribution to create short cuts to on the start menu.
I was wondering if there was a program that windoze calls on to do this,
when you right click on a file and click create short cut, or drag a file to
the desk top.

At present, I will have to duplicate code from an existing short cut and
change bits but this isnt a very good idea, for example I couldnt allow you
to put a custom icon on the short cut in this way.
