For those who are still interested in SMEL, my data & document structuring language: I have just published a definition of the SMEL 1.1-standard, in BNF-notation with explanation and examples. Version 1.1 is a work in progress and can still be improved. If you know how to improve SMEL, just tell me how. As soon as version 1.1 is kind of stable, I'll start working on a parser in Euphoria (and perhaps also in other languages).
